1. Service Agreement
By scheduling a repair with True Fix Chicago ("True Fix Chicago," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. We provide residential and commercial appliance repair services in Chicago, Illinois, within the neighborhoods and ZIP codes listed in our service areas.
2. Appointments and Scheduling
- Appointment windows are estimates. We will call you 30 minutes before arrival.
- Please have an adult (18+) present during the service visit.
- Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so the slot can go to someone else.
- No-shows (technician arrives, no one home) may still be billed for the visit.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All pricing is provided upfront before any repair work begins.
- Payment is due upon completion of service.
- We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and Zelle.
- Prices shown online are estimates. Final pricing depends on diagnosis and parts required.
4. Warranty
- 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty on all completed repairs.
- Warranty covers the specific repair performed. It does not cover new or unrelated failures.
- Warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with by a third party after our repair.
- Parts are sourced as OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or equivalent quality aftermarket.
5. Limitations of Liability
Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of that repair. We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage or wear unrelated to the repair
- Food spoilage or loss resulting from appliance failure
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Appliances that are deemed beyond economical repair
6. Parts and Availability
We carry common parts for major appliance brands. If a part needs to be ordered, we will notify you of the estimated wait time. Parts availability may extend repair timelines. We cannot guarantee same-day completion for all repairs.
7. Service Area
We serve the City of Chicago, Illinois. The neighborhoods and ZIP codes we cover are listed in full on our service areas page, grouped into the North Side, South Side, West Side and Downtown. If your address is outside that list, call before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
